Job summary

Vbeyond is seeking an experienced Build Engineer to support a major Maximo upgrade and migration in the Aerospace & Defence sector. The role focuses on deployment execution, OpenShift platform operations, secure deployment practices and release coordination throughout the upgrade programme.

The project involves upgrading Maximo 7.6 on Oracle to MAS 9.x on DB2, hosted in Azure Cloud; you will coordinate deployments, troubleshoot issues and work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Experience as Build Engineer / Deployment Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with environment deployment execution.
• Strong OpenShift platform operations experience.
• Experience implementing secure deployment processes.
• Experience with release management and deployment coordination.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for deployment and environment failures.
• Experience in cloud-based deployment environments, preferably Azure.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and deployment automation practices.
• Experience in complex upgrade, migration or transformation programmes is desirable.

The project involves the technical upgrade and migration of an existing Maximo 7.6 environment running on Oracle to Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x running on DB2, hosted in Azure Cloud.

The role will focus on deployment execution, OpenShift platform operations, secure deployment practices, release coordination and troubleshooting deployment issues throughout the migration and upgrade programme.
