Trinity School in Newbury is seeking a Maths Teacher/Mentor to join the Mathematics Department. You will mentor targeted students, deliver small-group instruction and support GCSE Maths for a post-16 cohort needing resits.

Maths Teacher/ Mentor

Hours: Full Time / Term Time

Trinity School, part of the Newbury Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint a Maths Teacher/ Mentor to join our Mathematics Department. This is a rewarding role working with identified students to close gaps in knowledge and skills, build confidence and improve progress, alongside teaching GCSE Maths to a small cohort of post-16 students who need to resit.

Working closely with the Maths team, the successful candidate will identify and mentor targeted students, deliver small-group teaching, manage our online tutoring programme, and support students both in and out of the classroom to help them achieve their very best.

This post would suit either a qualified teacher or someone with GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade 4/C or above, a relevant higher level Maths qualification, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning in mathematics. Those looking to progress to a career in teaching would be supported.
