Job summary

Trinity School in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mathematics and Economics Teacher to join our academic team. The role involves delivering high‑quality lessons across both subjects, challenging pupils and developing their analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Mathematics and Economics Teacher to join the academic team at Trinity School. About the Role

Contract Type: Full Time

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Start Date: Sep 2026

As a Mathematics and Economics Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality lessons that challenge and inspire pupils across the relevant key stages. You will support pupils in developing strong mathematical reasoning skills while also helping them understand economic concepts and their real‑world applications.

You will contribute to the development of the curriculum, support pupil progress and work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Economics that inspire pupils and promote academic excellence.
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring that all learners are supported to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of teaching resources.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning.
  • Support pupils’ academic development and wellbeing through effective pastoral care.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the School, including enrichment activities, clubs and school events.
About You
  • Hold a good honours degree in Mathematics, Economics or a related subject and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Be able to teach Mathematics and/or Economics to secondary pupils, with the ability to support teaching at GCSE and A‑Level where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the School.
