Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an experienced qualified Maths Teacher to work full-time with potential for a long-term position across Rhondda Cynon Taf schools. We provide guidance and support, with flexibility to suit your schedule.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with Maths, teach Maths up to KS4, and demonstrate excellent classroom management and engaging lesson planning. Our consultants offer 24/7 support, market-leading pay, and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths specialism and KS4 teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively.
• Strong communication and lesson planning skills.
• Experience delivering pre-planned engaging Maths lessons.
• Willingness to work full-time with potential for long-term placement.

Responsibilities

We have partnered with many secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf, meaning our need for good quality staff is at an all-time high. Our long-standing relationships with schools mean that we can find you the position that's right for you, giving you guidance and advice along the way.

Our dedicated consultants have an ideal mix of skills and knowledge, coming from a background of both hands-on classroom experience and extensive recruitment experience. Many of our roles for qualified teachers have September 2026 dates.

The successful qualified Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths up to key stage 4/ KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with pre planning engaging lessons
