Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a mainstream secondary school in Cardiff by recruiting a committed Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term role with an ASAP start. You will deliver Maths up to KS4, plan engaging lessons and monitor pupil progress while upholding high standards of behaviour.

The role requires QTS with Maths specialism and proven classroom management. On-site, temporary position offering market-leading pay and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Cardiff, providing a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence and achieve their academic potential. The school is looking for a committed Maths Teacher who can positively contribute to the learning and development of its pupils.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, with an ASAP start. The successful Maths Teacher will teach Mathematics up to Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress and maintaining high standards of classroom and behaviour management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• QTS, with NQTs welcomed to apply
• A Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths through school placements or previous teaching roles
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
