Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking experienced qualified Maths Teachers to work on a full-time basis with potential for a long-term position in Cardiff. We work with many secondary schools, offering guidance, support and flexible working arrangements.

Ideal candidates will hold QTS with Maths, have KS4 experience and the ability to pre-plan engaging lessons. Our consultants provide 24/7 support and access to CPD courses, with market-leading pay and referral schemes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths to KS4 and beyond as required.
• Plan engaging lessons and resources.
• Deliver lessons on a full-time, long-term basis as suitable.
• Maintain professional standards and DBS compliance.

Our dedicated consultants have an ideal mix of skills and knowledge, coming from a background of both hands-on classroom experience and extensive recruitment experience. Many of our roles for qualified teachers have September 2026 dates.

The successful qualified Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism
• Experience teaching Maths up to key stage 4/ KS4
• Experience with pre planning engaging lessons
