Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Tameside, seeking a qualified Maths Teacher after the October half term to teach KS3 and KS4 on a full-time, long-term basis.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons, maintain strong classroom management and support students to make progress, with QTS essential and a strong knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum.

Salary: £150 - £200 per day

The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can provide engaging Maths lessons and support pupils across KS3 and KS4.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, maintaining strong classroom management and ensuring pupils are supported to make progress.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS is essential
• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Maths curriculum
