Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking Maths Specialists to work across secondary schools in Kent, delivering Maths lessons and targeted interventions.

This role suits those with a strong Maths background who have tutored, mentored or worked in a school setting to boost student attainment. You will support delivery of lessons, run small-group and 1:1 sessions, and help students gain confidence and higher attainment in Maths, while assisting teachers with prep and classroom activities across multiple

Qualifications

• Strong Maths knowledge, ideally with relevant qualifications.
• Tutoring, mentoring or coaching in an educational setting.
• Ability to work in schools, colleges, tuition centres or youth settings.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK and be able to provide references.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Lead small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions.
• Help students improve confidence, understanding and attainment in Maths.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Provide targeted support for students preparing for examinations.
• Encourage student engagement and a positive attitude toward learning.
