Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Maths Specialists to work across secondary schools in Kent, delivering Maths lessons and targeted interventions. You will support staff with lesson delivery, run small-group sessions, and help students improve their confidence and attainment in Mathematics.

Ideal candidates have strong Maths knowledge and prior tutoring or school-based experience, with DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics.
• Experience tutoring or supporting learners in an educational setting.
• Experience working in schools, colleges, tuition centres, or youth settings.
• Able to lead small groups and support classroom learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Lead small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions.
• Help students improve confidence, understanding and attainment in Mathematics.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Provide targeted support for students preparing for examinations.
• Encourage student engagement and promote a positive attitude towards learning.
