Job summary

Career Teachers in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced SEN Maths Teacher to join a specialist educational setting. You will support children with complex needs, delivering tailored lessons and building positive relationships to help each pupil reach their full potential.

The role is temporary with potential to go permanent, Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30, starting September and based in a specialist educational setting. QTS or equivalent required.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Experience supporting pupils with complex needs, including autism and communication needs.
• A patient, nurturing and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Maths Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Chesterfield on a temporary basis until December 2026- Potentially.

Requirements

• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
