Job summary

Tp-Tutors in Chesterfield is seeking a dedicated Maths & English Tutor to support a student with SEN during school hours. This part-time role focuses on personalised 1:1 tuition, building confidence and reinforcing core maths and English skills in a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge for primary/secondary level, excellent communication, and a willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Maths and English.
• SEN experience is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge for Primary/Secondary level.
• Experience providing personalised or 1:1 tuition is desirable.
• Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
