Job summary

Brookthorpe Hall School, part of Outcomes First Schools, is seeking a Maths & Science Curriculum Lead to drive curriculum development, enhance teaching and learning, and raise outcomes across our education provision. You will work with teachers and leaders to champion high-quality teaching and ensure Maths and Science are ambitious, inclusive and engaging.

This hands-on leadership role involves coaching colleagues, using data to identify improvements and safeguarding commitments, within a school

Qualifications

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or Science.
Experience leading curriculum development, teaching and learning, or subject improvement initiatives.
Ability to inspire and support colleagues through coaching, mentoring and professional development.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Maths and Science curriculum.
Support teachers to deliver engaging, effective and inclusive lessons.
Drive high standards in teaching, learning and assessment.
Conduct quality assurance activities including observations and work scrutiny.
Use progress data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Coach and mentor colleagues to strengthen classroom practice.
Develop curriculum resources that boost engagement and achievement.
Promote inclusive approaches to help all students access learning.
