Job summary

South Devon College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (Maths) to support High Needs Students within GCSE and Functional Skills Maths. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to help learners engage with the curriculum, build independence, achieve their individual outcomes, and develop the confidence they need to succeed in education and beyond.

• Experience in learning support, coaching, mentoring.
• Commitment to helping learners succeed and overcome barriers.
• Ability to support students with EHCPs and access to learning.

• Collaborate with teaching staff to keep learners engaged with the curriculum.
• Help learners achieve individual outcomes and build independence.
