Job summary

South Devon College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (Maths) to support High Needs Students within GCSE and Functional Skills Maths. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help learners engage with the curriculum, build independence, achieve their individual outcomes, and develop the confidence they need to succeed in education and beyond.

This role plays a key part in supporting students with EHCPs and ensuring they can fully access and benefit from their learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning support, coaching, mentoring or similar role.
• Passion for helping learners overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support High Needs Students within GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
