Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Maths Learning Support Assistant for a Mixed Roman Catholic Sixth Form College in South West London. The role is full-time, long-term with scope to go permanent, and runs Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.

This position is ideal for a recent Maths graduate or someone with experience supporting Maths in schools, offering immediate start and excellent pay rates.

Qualifications

A Maths Learning Support Assistant is needed in a Roman Catholic Sixth Form College in South West London.

This will be a full time long term Maths Learning Support Assistant position with scope to go permanent.

Working days and hours for this Maths Learning Support Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities for this Maths Learning Support Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

• Supporting SEN students in Maths classes
• Working with the teachers to ensure each students learning needs are identified
• Attending to students social, emotional and personal needs when required
• Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
• Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed

The rates of pay for this Maths Learning Support Assistant position will be between GBP85.50 to GBP124.87 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

A Mixed Roman Catholic Sixth Form College for pupils aged 16 to 19 years old located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

It was established in 1985 and they currently offer A Level, Diploma, IB and Adult Education courses.

There is an excellent pastoral care system in place at the school with each student having a Personal Tutor to assist them, along with their subject teachers.

The site also has a Chapel and Prayer room for those of a religious background.

Staff are extremely satisfied when it comes to working at the college too.
