Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Cheadle – September 2025 Start – £89.38 to £100 per day

A welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Cheadle, Stockport is looking for a full-time Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate seeking hands-on experience in education ahead of a PGCE, teacher training or educational psychology pathway.

• Work closely with Maths teachers to support students across Key Stage 3 and 4

• Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions, focusing on building numeracy, confidence, and problem-solving skills

• Assist with in-class support, exam preparation, and tailored learning for students who need extra guidance

• Help plan engaging and accessible resources under teacher guidance

• Track pupil progress and adapt support strategies accordingly

• Location: Cheadle, Stockport

• Start Date: September 2025

• Contract: Full academic year (with possibility of permanent teacher training route)

• Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm
