A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint a full-time English Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced English teachers and support pupils in achieving academic success across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Provide tailored support in English lessons, focusing on reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and exam skills
Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to help close learning gaps and build student confidence
Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities
Encourage students' love for English through creative engagement and mentorship
Support literacy development across the curriculum in line with whole-school initiatives
Location: Greater Manchester (flexible locations including Stockport, Levenshulme, and Cheadle)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full academic year (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
