English Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – September 2025 Start – £89.38 to £100 per day

Are you a recent English graduate with a passion for literature, language, and education? Are you considering a future career in teaching and looking to gain invaluable classroom experience?

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint a full-time English Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced English teachers and support pupils in achieving academic success across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Provide tailored support in English lessons, focusing on reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and exam skills

• Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to help close learning gaps and build student confidence

• Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities

• Encourage students' love for English through creative engagement and mentorship

• Support literacy development across the curriculum in line with whole-school initiatives

• Location: Greater Manchester (flexible locations including Stockport, Levenshulme, and Cheadle)

• Start Date: September 2025

• Contract: Full academic year (Monday to Friday)

• Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

• Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
