Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Cover Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in Dorchester. The role involves delivering Maths across Years 5 to 8, with occasional Science cover and following set lesson plans.

We value educators who can maintain high expectations, inspire pupils, and support colleagues to ensure learning continues smoothly during staff absences. The position is full-time with immediate start possibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong Maths teaching experience, ideally within KS2 and lower KS3.
• Ability to deliver lessons across Year 5 through to Year 8.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Years 5 to 8.
• Provide occasional Science cover as required by the school.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
