Harris Academy Clapham seeks an exceptional Lead Practitioner of Mathematics with strong subject knowledge and a passion for outstanding teaching. You will drive improvement in teaching, learning and curriculum and help raise student outcomes across KS3/KS4, with potential KS5 involvement.

You will lead in monitoring standards, providing robust feedback, and collaborating with governors and staff to sustain high standards of achievement within a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, with evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and excellent behaviour management.
• Experience of lesson observations and giving robust feedback.
• Experience of improvement planning and implementing strategies to raise student achievement, with evidence of success.
• Contribute to improving learning, teaching and curriculum quality.
• Proven track record of excellent KS3/KS4 results, and ideally KS5 experience.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate as part of the Lead Practitioner Team to uphold excellence and high standards for all students.
• Account for student performance in line with academy procedures.
• Provide the Governing Body with accurate information on the Faculty's performance and development.
• Support and participate in Harris Federation activities and subject groups as appropriate.
• Contribute to academy policy development and ensure consistent implementation.
• Ensure high quality teaching and learning across the Faculty and Academy.
• Participate in duties during lunch, break, and before/after school.
