The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Maternity Support Worker to assist the multidisciplinary team in caring for women, babies and families throughout the maternity journey, under supervision and within guidelines.

The role covers 24/7 maternity service hours, with varied day and night shifts and training provided. Applicants should have Level 2 qualifications, GCSEs and the Care Certificate, with prior maternity experience preferred.

Competenze

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent
• 5 GCSE Grade C/4 or above or equivalent including maths and English
• Care certificate
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Mansioni

• Provide direct care to women, birthing people and babies under supervision.
• Deliver evidence-based care to patients referred to the service.
• Organise daily workload and prioritise tasks with supervision.
• Provide administration support relevant to the role.
• Support women and families with complex clinical or social needs.
