• Provide maternity care to women, babies and families under supervision of the maternity multidisciplinary team.
• Act as a role model, coaching Trainee and Band 2 MSW as required.
• Help ensure the ward/department runs efficiently and effectively.
• Manage own workload, following SOPs and established protocols.
• Prioritise workload and tasks delegated from a registered practitioner.
• Provide information and signpost to other health sector organisations.
