We are seeking compassionate and caring Maternity Support Workers passionate about contributing to patient care at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). Our team takes pride in their essential work, going the extra mile for patients and their families, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
You will communicate sensitively with patients, relatives, and team members, working flexibly across various shifts, including days and nights, throughout the week.
If new to healthcare, you will be supported through our Support Worker Development Programme, which includes the Care Certificate. Successful completion may lead to progression into a Band 3 Maternity Support Worker role. Experienced workers will undergo skills assessments and be supported to access relevant clinical modules for advancement.

Our Maternity Support Workers are dedicated to providing compassionate care, working with empathy, consideration, and dignity. Support includes developing skills through our development programme, which covers the Care Certificate, and progressing to a Band 3 role upon meeting the required competencies. Experienced workers will have their skills assessed and supported for further training as needed.

Salary: £24,169 to £25,674 per annum (pro-rata).
