Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced leader to drive the development and implementation of the Maternity Quality Assurance Framework and the MatNeoIst improvements. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across quality governance, clinical effectiveness, patient safety, audit, risk management, education and research.

You will work closely with the Director of Midwifery, Clinical Director and General Manager to embed robust governance arrangements,

Qualifications

• Senior clinical governance experience with evidence of leading improvement programmes.
• Experience translating incidents and audits into measurable improvements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on development and embedding of the Quality Assurance Framework.
• Ensure compliance with local and national quality standards in maternity services.
• Oversee clinical governance, patient safety, risk management, and education.
• Provide assurance through reporting to senior governance forums.
• Collaborate with senior clinical leaders to progress governance milestones.
