Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced midwifery leader to shape and deliver high-quality maternity services. You will drive clinical governance, quality initiatives, and service development across antenatal and triage settings, ensuring safe, compassionate care for women and families.

You will lead on policy development, audit activity and research, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to embed new ways of working and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current experience in Midwifery Practice
• Team Working
• Evidence of acting as a mentor/preceptor
• Awareness of change management

Responsibilities

• Lead on clinical governance, quality initiatives, service development and audit activity.
• Provide strategic leadership across maternity services and champion continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement policies, guidelines and clinical protocols for safe practice.
• Support implementation of national and local maternity priorities and collaboration with stakeholders.
