Job summary

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT is seeking a Digital Midwife to lead the maternity EPR programme, linking clinical practice with digital design and adoption. You will educate staff on the Maternity Information System, develop training plans, and champion safety, data quality and efficient information sharing across departments.

The role requires expertise in maternity informatics, change management, and collaborative work with CNIO and Digital Matron to deliver impactful

Qualifications

• Substantial senior-level midwifery experience and clinical practice.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering quality-improvement initiatives.
• Experience teaching, mentoring and delivering presentations.
• Knowledge of maternity pathways and interfaces with other services.
• Ability to translate clinical requirements into digital solutions and assess impact.

Responsibilities

• Work clinically with frontline teams delivering direct patient care as a clinical informatics expert.
• Support safe, clinical technology to promote patient care and digital strategy.
• Collaborate with CNIO and Digital Matron to deliver technology for high-quality care.
• Identify system developments to support changes in clinical and admin practices.
• Represent healthcare professionals in design, testing, and implementation of new systems.
