Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (DBTH) is seeking a Digital Midwife to lead maternity informatics within the Maternity EPR programme. The role spans design, implementation, training, and adoption of digital systems to improve safety, data quality and workflows.

The post involves education across staff groups, system management experience, and translating maternity requirements into effective digital solutions.

Formación

• Substantial senior-level midwifery experience with recent clinical practice.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, implementing change and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring and delivering presentations to groups of different sizes.
• Knowledge of maternity pathways and their interfaces with other services.
• Ability to translate clinical requirements into digital solutions and assess impact on practice.
• Knowledge of governance, patient safety, and risk-management processes.
• Understanding of change-management principles and new healthcare technologies.
• Competent user of Microsoft applications.
• Experience in project/programme management and post-implementation review.
• Commitment to learning about new technology to enhance care.

Responsabilidades

• Work clinically with frontline teams delivering direct patient care as an expert and role model in clinical informatics.
• Support safe, clinical technology delivery to promote patient care and the Trust's Digital Strategy.
• Collaborate with CNIO and Digital Matron to deliver the best technology for high-quality care.
• Identify system developments to support changes in clinical and administrative practices.
• Represent healthcare professionals when designing, testing and implementing new systems.
• Act as a resource to lead change in the clinical environment and motivate staff to adopt digital tools.
