Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Data & Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of digital and data-enabled change across the Informatics Directorate. The role involves developing project plans, managing budgets and risks, and ensuring delivery in line with governance and timelines.

You will collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, training, business change and supplier teams to implement safe and effective digital solutions that improve patient care

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data/digital projects in health or public sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of governance, risk and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of assigned Data & Digital projects, ensuring timescales, budgets and quality.
• Develop, maintain and monitor comprehensive project plans with milestones and risks.
• Apply project management methodology (PRINCE2) and governance frameworks for control and assurance.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams with clinical, operational, technical, training and supplier input.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage clinical, operational and corporate services to understand needs and priorities.
• Support identification, evaluation and implementation of digital and data solutions.
• Prepare and present project docs: terms of reference, business cases, options appraisals, reports.
• Monitor progress, resource use and delivery performance; identify delays and risks.
• Support benefits realisation and post-implementation reviews.
