Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking qualified midwives to join our maternity services. The Labour Ward/Delivery Suite Coordinator will lead a multidisciplinary team, provide woman-centred care and ensure high standards of clinical governance.

You will support the Head of Midwifery, participate in staff development and maintain safe, evidence-based maternity care across hospital and community settings. Shift work including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified midwife with NMC registration.
• Experience in a maternity setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team and direct line management of staff supporting/coaching colleagues.
• Lead in delivering woman-centred care and maintain safe clinical environments.
• Deliver/coordinate midwifery care across hospital and community settings as required.
• Be prepared to work shifts including nights and weekends.
