Job summary

ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD UK Limited (ALTER UK) is seeking a Stores Assistant for our Livingston site. You will kit materials for Production and Engineering, maintain stock records in the ERP system, and coordinate purchases to ensure materials are available when needed.

The role is full-time, site-based, with a 40-hour workweek and flexitime. You will work with Sales, Engineering, Production and Shipping to keep stores running efficiently and support shipping activities as required.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills and aptitude.
• Excellent time-management and prioritisation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Stores experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Kitting materials for Production and Engineering per PO and BOMs.
• Support improvements to stores systems, layouts, processes and ERP.
• Assist with shipping activities.
• Coordinate activities across Sales, Engineering, Production and Shipping.
• Conduct regular stock takes and update ERP transactions.
• Cover stores and shipping duties as required.
