Job summary

Activus Recruitment is supporting a well-established engineering business in the Kintore area by recruiting a Stores Person to support their operations and assembly teams. This hands-on role covers receiving, storing, controlling and dispatching materials, and contributing to smooth warehouse operations.

You will work closely with the Assembly Supervisor, maintain accurate stock records, and uphold Health & Safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse-based role.
• Experience with Health & Safety practices.
• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines safely and efficiently.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and dispatch materials in line with procedures.
• Check deliveries against POs and delivery notes.
• Label and tag incoming stock for traceability.
• Record stock movements using internal systems.
• Collaborate with Assembly Supervisor to meet production needs.
• Pick and prepare customer orders with correct documentation.
• Carry out stock takes and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe stores environment.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies.
