Job summary

Qualitrol in Belfast, UK is seeking a Materials Manager to lead demand planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inventory control for manufacturing operations. You will optimize material flow, support production schedules, and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will partner with Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to align material strategies with business objectives and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• MBA, CPM, CPSM, APICS CPIM, CSCP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning and ensure right materials at right time.
• Manage inventory control, cycles, and counts with accuracy.
• Develop supply continuity strategies and mitigate shortages.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and improvement actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Engineering, Quality and Sales.
• Drive lean initiatives and standard work across materials functions.
