Job summary

Advanced Medical Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Planning and Purchasing Coordinator to support production and material planning. You will work cross-functionally with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Engineering and Finance to schedule manufacturing, raise purchase orders, monitor material availability and ensure delivery of products to the required quality and cost targets.

The role requires ERP/MRP experience, strong Excel skills and the ability to manage competing

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain or similar.
Understanding of manufacturing, purchasing and supply chain processes.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and ability to manage deadlines.
Advanced Excel and ERP/MRP system experience.
Familiar with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or Sage.
CIPS or APICS/ASCM qualification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation and maintenance of production and material plans.
Review demand, forecasts, stock levels and production requirements to identify material requirements.
Monitor material availability against the production schedule.
Identify potential shortages, delays and supply constraints and escalate issues appropriately.
Maintain planning parameters including lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stocks and order quantities.
Assist with supplier onboarding and maintenance of approved supplier information where required.
