This Materials Handler role in Birmingham is a temporary position with Manpower UK, offering up to £13.53 per hour. Working Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 4:00pm, the successful candidate will support a busy warehouse and logistics operation. Duties include completing daily inventory cycle counts, physically locating and counting stock items, verifying part numbers and storage locations, and accurately recording quantities. Recounts are carried out where discrepancies arise, with variances reported for further investigation. Materials Handler Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Materials Handler to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities

• Check stock-location accuracy.
• Identify misplaced or incorrectly labelled inventory.
• Support inventory housekeeping and location-control activities.
• Assist with stock audits and physical inventory checks.
• Provide general support to the Inventory team with routine stock control tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous inventory counting or stock control experience.

Working Environment

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Manual handling in line with site requirements.
• Working within temperature-controlled areas, including: Freezers operating at -20°C
• Cold rooms operating between +2°C and +8°C
• Adhering to all site Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.

PPE andamp; Dress Code

PPE will be provided where required.

Employees must:

• Wear safety footwear at all times.
• Wear Hi-Vis clothing in designated areas.
• Maintain a smart casual appearance whilst on site (no shorts permitted).
