Job summary

KONE is seeking a Materials Coordinator to source, order, expedite and manage parts for lifts and escalators to support both in-service and out-of-service equipment across the GB & Ireland service operation.

You will work with service engineers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost-effective sourcing, and accurate record-keeping, with a focus on uptime and excellent customer service. Hybrid working and a broad benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, procurement, or logistics (parts is desirable).
• Previous customer service/office/administrative experience is essential.
• Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Collaborative team player.
• Experience of work in SAP, Salesforce is desirable.
• Good Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Job description

Purpose

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, ordering, expediting and managing the delivery of parts for lifts and escalators required to support both in-service and out-of-service equipment.

Working closely with Service Engineers, Service Management and other key stakeholders and suppliers, this role provides a critical function across the GB & Ireland Service operation.

The role is essential in ensuring parts are available when required, enabling engineers to complete repairs and maintenance visits efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
