Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Stores Technician for a 6-Month Rolling Contract at Worcester Six Business Park, Worcester. The role focuses on material control, issuing production materials, and preparing parts for dispatch.

You will be part of a small team, handling inbound goods, stock control, and order packing with SAP experience advantageous but training available. Key duties include receiving goods, stock entry, issuing to production, dispatch preparation, inventory accuracy, and liaising with

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a small team and communicate effectively.
• Comfortable using computer systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Reliable, proactive and willing to learn new processes.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials.
• Book materials and components into stock accurately.
• Issue materials to production as required.
• Pack, pick and prepare parts for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock controls.
• Assist with stock checks, cycle counts and material traceability.
• Liaise with production and logistics to ensure materials are available.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures.
