Job summary

JBT Marel in Adlington, UK is seeking a proactive Stores / Warehouse Assistant on a fixed-term 6-month contract. The role is full-time (39 hours per week, Monday–Friday) to support production and aftermarket operations through receipt, storage and delivery of materials.

You will handle deliveries in Sage/ERP, perform cycle counts, assemble production kits, and dispatch goods while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Health & Safety practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and flexible with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and book in deliveries using ERP (Sage and bespoke systems).
• Carry out cycle counting and stocktaking to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assemble components into kits for production and aftermarket use; supply materials to shop floor.
• Pack, prepare and dispatch components; liaise with site logistics for movement of goods.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and follow safe manual handling practices.
