Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organised Stores Technician to join a small, close-knit team supporting a busy manufacturing operation. This role differs from a traditional warehouse position, with a strong focus on material control, issuing production materials, and preparing parts for dispatch.

Working within a team of three, you will be responsible for receiving and storing materials, issuing plates and powders to production, packing components for dispatch, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Experience with SAP would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic who enjoys working in a structured manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

  • Comfortable using computer systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.

  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn new processes.

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system.

  • Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

  • Experience issuing materials to production.

  • Experience packing products for dispatch.

  • Forklift, stacker truck, or other material handling equipment licences.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and takes pride in their work. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are available to production and customer orders are packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
