Material Co-ordinator

Hours: Monday–Thursday
Shift Options:
6:00am–3:45pm
7:00am–4:45pm

ReeVR are looking for a highly organised and proactive Materials Co-ordinator to join our clients production team. In this fast-paced and hands-on role, the Material Co-ordinator will ensure that materials and components are delivered to the right place at the right time, supporting production flow, minimising downtime and helping to increase overall shopfloor productivity.

As the Material Co-ordinator You will play a key role in maintaining material availability, updating visual management tools and assisting with tasks that support efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities for the Material Co-ordinator
  • Work in line with company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Deliver raw materials, parts and supplies to production workstations.
  • Prevent production stoppages or stock outs by ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Transport finished products from work areas to the next stage of the production process.
  • Remove waste materials, packaging and empty containers
  • Update relevant visual management boards to reflect current inventory and production status.
  • Practical Problem Solving & Support
  • Removal or replacement of tooling and fixtures
  • Assisting with changeovers
  • Help prevent production delays caused by material flow interruptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels at individual workstations to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Use scanners or laptops to process ERP transactions.
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work to time-bound production requirements.
  • Effective communication skills for coordination with production teams, support functions and management.
  • High level of attention to detail for accurate stock identification, labelling and material condition monitoring.
  • Good physical stamina, with the ability to lift, move and handle materials throughout the shift.
  • Strong commitment to an EH&S-
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications / MRP experience desirable.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
