Circle Health Group in Glasgow is seeking a Materials Assistant to join the Materials department. This full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week role requires covering a flexible shift pattern at Ross Hall Hospital.

You will support day-to-day materials management and stock replenishment for internal departments. Ideal candidates have GCSEs in Maths and English, are proficient with Word and Excel, and can work independently with strong customer service and communication skills.

Materials Assistant

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow

We have an opportunity for an Materials Assistant to join their team of staff in the Materials department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

• You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day to day running of the department.
• Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
• Ensure stock availability through the correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or on behalf of hospital departments.
• Maintain all departmental paperwork and files in good order with reference to accuracy, appropriateness and availability.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• A minimum of GSCE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.
• Customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
