Job summary

Circle Health Group Limited in Glasgow is recruiting a Materials Assistant to join the Materials department at Ross Hall Hospital. This full-time role, 37.5 hours per week and permanent, offers a salary up to £25,525.00 per year depending on experience, training and qualification.

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality materials management service, ensure stock availability, and maintain accurate records while adhering to mandatory training requirements.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Proficiency with PC software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.
• Customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day to day running of the department.
• Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
• Ensure stock availability through the correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or on behalf of hospital departments.
• Maintain all departmental paperwork and files in good order with reference to accuracy, appropriateness and availability.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for an Materials Assistant to join their team of staff in theMaterials department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day to day running of the department.
• Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
• Ensure stock availability through the correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or on behalf of hospital departments.
• Maintain all departmental paperwork and files in good order with reference to accuracy, appropriateness and availability.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of GSCE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
