Circle Health Group is seeking a Materials Assistant for Woodlands Hospital in Darlington. The role is 37.5 hours per week, permanent, with a salary up to £25,859.89 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

You will join the Materials Department to ensure stock availability, process orders, and maintain department records. The role requires good IT skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Proficiency in using a PC, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Be an active member of the Materials Department, helping the day-to-day operations.
• Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to internal customers.
• Ensure stock availability through correct ordering and replenishment for central stores or hospital departments.

Woodlands Hospital in Darlington is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Material Assistant to join their team of staff in the Materials department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day to day running of the department.
• Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
• Ensure stock availability through the correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or on behalf of hospital departments.
• Maintain all departmental paperwork and files in good order with reference to accuracy, appropriateness and availability.
• You comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of GSCE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
