Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Master Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established automotive business. You will perform servicing, diagnostics and MOT testing to DVSA standards, contributing to a high-quality workshop.

You will work with modern equipment in a supportive team, aiming for Right First Time workmanship and customer satisfaction. The role offers a full-time 45-hour week, a competitive OTE of £34,414–£39,505, and a structured progression path with

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / equivalent automotive qualification.
• Valid MOT Tester Licence / Smart Card.
• Proven experience as a Master Technician, Senior Vehicle Technician or highly experienced Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and complex mechanical work to a high standard.
• Completing MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements and maintaining high standards of compliance.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex vehicle faults.
• Ensuring vehicles are completed Right First Time while supporting other technicians within the workshop.

What You'll Be Doing
