Job summary

Autolus is seeking a Master Scheduler, Engineering to join its Stevenage site on a full-time, on-site basis. You will lead strategic planning, develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and define milestones to ensure timely delivery of engineering initiatives.

The role requires a strong background in biopharma or related industries, with at least 7 years in project planning and scheduling, proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, and the ability to collaborate across engineering,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Strategically develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, overseeing resource allocation, establishing critical timelines, and defining key milestones to ensure seamless project execution.
Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, ensuring cohesive coordination and alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
Proactively monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing innovative mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
Lead and facilitate regular project status meetings, delivering insightful updates and ensuring transparent, effective communication with all stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability.
Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to continuously assess project performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive improvements in resource utilization and efficiency.
Prepare and deliver high-level project reports to senior management, presenting key achievements, challenges, and actionable next steps, while providing strategic insights for informed decision-making.
Ensure unwavering compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and quality throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Champion the development and implementation of advanced project management tools and methodologies, driving continuous improvement to enhance organizational efficiency and project delivery excellence.
