Job summary

Autolus is seeking a Master Scheduler, Engineering to join its Stevenage site on a full-time, on-site basis. You will lead strategic planning, develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and define milestones to ensure timely delivery of engineering initiatives.

The role requires a strong background in biopharma or related industries, with at least 7 years in project planning and scheduling, proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, and the ability to collaborate across engineering,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, overseeing resource allocation, establishing critical timelines, and defining key milestones to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, ensuring cohesive coordination and alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
  • Proactively monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing innovative mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
  • Lead and facilitate regular project status meetings, delivering insightful updates and ensuring transparent, effective communication with all stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability.
  • Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to continuously assess project performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive improvements in resource utilization and efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level project reports to senior management, presenting key achievements, challenges, and actionable next steps, while providing strategic insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure unwavering compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and quality throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Champion the development and implementation of advanced project management tools and methodologies, driving continuous improvement to enhance organizational efficiency and project delivery excellence.
