Job summary

Orient Express Sailing Yachts seeks an experienced Master to command the Orient Express Olympian. The role requires leadership of guests and crew, strict adherence to maritime safety, and ongoing compliance with international standards. Embarkation is January 2027 with a 2 months on/off rotation.

The Master will report to SVP Marine and work within an international crew, ensuring optimal voyage safety and regulatory compliance across all operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Master on cruise vessels.
• STCW95 certification valid.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Physically and medically fit with certification.
• Experience commanding varied ship itineraries.

Responsibilities

• Command the overall operation, guests, crew and safety of the vessel.
• Ensure maritime protocols, environmental policies and safety regulations are followed.
• Lead safety drills and emergency response.
• Maintain SMS compliance and ISPS requirements.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineer and Staff Captain on maintenance and operations.
