Archer Resourcing has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the MASH team in Wolverhampton.

Role Overview:

As a MASH Social Worker, you will be the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns related to children. You will collaborate with other agencies to identify risks and needs early, responding with effective, coordinated actions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Promoting and safeguarding the wellbeing and interests of children.
2. Managing an independent workload, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements within deadlines.
3. Assessing, analyzing, planning, and implementing interventions for complex cases.
4. Producing clear assessments, plans, and reports.
5. Maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records.
6. Building effective relationships with children and young people.
7. Collaborating with colleagues and agencies to provide accessible services.
8. Engaging in ongoing professional development and supervision.
9. Participating in routine reviews and audits conducted by team leaders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Post-qualifying experience working with children and families.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of statutory frameworks underpinning social work.
• Ability to assess complex situations and provide clear reports.
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or registered on the update service.
