Job summary

Holland & Barrett in the UK is seeking a Marketplace Trading Manager to own day-to-day trading across assigned categories and brands. You will use performance data, customer insight and vendor relationships to grow sales, improve conversion and expand our offer.

Working with Digital Trading, Category teams and vendors, you will balance immediate trading opportunities with sustainable growth while delivering measurable results across revenue, margin and assortment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Marketplace, eCommerce or digital trading.
• Strong commercial mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to build relationships with vendors/brands.
• Understanding of digital customer behaviour, traffic, conversion and content optimization.
• Ability to spot assortment opportunities and support range changes.
• Confident collaboration across Category, Digital, Marketing and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Marketplace trading performance across categories and brands, tracking revenue, margin, conversion and availability.
• Identify performance gaps and growth opportunities, turning insights into actions with measurable results.
• Develop Marketplace growth plans aligned with wider strategies and priorities.
• Spot gaps in assortment, emerging brands, and opportunities to extend our range.
• Build productive relationships with Marketplace vendors for launches, promotions and growth.
• Improve product listings, imagery and catalogue quality for better discovery and conversions.
• Plan Marketplace-specific promotions and ensure readiness with internal teams.
• Monitor availability and address risks to minimize lost sales.
