Job summary

Oven or Nothin in Camden, London, is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to own and drive the marketing function for a growing Mediterranean kitchen.

You will lead marketing strategy and planning, manage website and SEO, local and Google advertising, social content, photography and creative branding, and oversee delivery platforms. You’ll work directly with the founder and help relaunch and expand catering across London.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of marketing experience.
• Hands-on with Google Ads, Meta, SEO, analytics and website platforms.
• Comfortable with Canva/Figma and basic photography, videography and short-form editing.
• Commercially minded with budgets, performance and growth metrics.
• Organised, proactive, curious and comfortable working in a fast-moving small business.
• Happy to work in the restaurant, on the floor and out in nearby offices.
• Available to start within one week of receiving an offer.

About Us

Oven or Nothin is an independent Mediterranean fast-food kitchen on Drummond Street, Camden, a few minutes from Euston, UCL and Regent’s Place.

We’re entering an exciting stage of growth, with a new brand, menu, packaging and website launching alongside a stronger catering operation and plans for further locations across London.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Marketing Manager to own and drive the marketing function.

You’ll manage and execute across:

• Marketing strategy & planning — priorities, budgets, deadlines and measurable outcomes.
• Website & SEO — build, improve, optimise and keep it moving.
• Google & local marketing — Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Bing, Apple Maps and local SEO.
• Social & content — work closely with our Social Media Manager to guide content direction, priorities and performance.
• Photography & video — confidently shoot food, people, lifestyle and behind‑the‑scenes content using a camera or smartphone.
• Creative & brand — menus, packaging, signage, print and campaigns.
• Delivery platforms — manage Deliveroo and Uber Eats listings, pricing and menu consistency.
• Reviews & customer insight — generate reviews, respond to feedback and turn customer insights into action.
• Local growth & catering — build relationships with nearby offices, create a target list, take samples out and turn prospects into recurring accounts.

You’ll be expected to make things happen, not simply brief someone else and wait.

How We Work

You’ll work directly with the founder, turning direction into action and speaking up when you see a better approach.

You’ll need to prioritise effectively, move quickly and focus your time on work that has the biggest impact.

You’ll also guide and support our existing Social Media Manager, making sure social activity connects to the wider marketing strategy.

AI & Productivity

We use AI to help one person operate across a broad marketing function.

We’re looking for someone who can use AI and automation for research, analysis, content, reporting and repetitive tasks — not simply for generating copy.

The goal is simple: work faster, increase output and maintain quality.

Who We’re Looking For
