Location - Bristol & York
Have you delivered campaigns and marketing activity that directly driving commercial performance and measurable results? Do you know how to turn insight and MI into targeted, high-impact marketing strategies? Are you creative, organised and motivated to challenge the status quo? If you’re confident using data to shape campaigns and influence outcomes, we might have just the role for you.
Aviva is looking for a Trading Marketing Executive to power performance in our Workplace Pensions business. You’ll work across the wider Aviva teams to design and deliver insight-led, trading campaigns that drive measurable engagement and support commercial targets.
This means building campaigns rooted in MI and customer insight, targeting the right audiences, optimising performance in-flight, and continuously improving results. You’ll balance creativity with data, ensuring every campaign not only stands out but delivers against trading goals — all within a collaborative, fast-paced team.
This position is part of the Customer and Marketing function within the Go-To-Market team and involves working collaboratively with other key areas such as Data, Digital, and Campaigns to build communication plans.
As part of our marketing team, you’ll bring our Workplace Pensions proposition to life through insight-led, trading-focused campaigns. Using MI and customer data, you’ll identify target segments, shape compelling propositions, and deliver multi-channel activity that drives measurable engagement and supports commercial performance.
From digital communications to integrated campaigns and sales enablement, you’ll continuously monitor and optimise performance — ensuring every activity is targeted, effective, and aligned to trading outcomes.
To do this, you’ll need to be adept at creating great customer-focused content so that you can execute marketing-led activity with impact, supporting the retention, growth and further engagement of our customers.
We need someone who’s used to working hand-in-hand with technical, compliance and product teams to effectively balance keeping our business safe with delivering great customer outcomes, and who understands the importance of delivering impact and measuring results.
You’ll also need to have good attention to detail, be creative and curious and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. We want somebody who’s willing to test out and try new marketing approaches to find what works, rather than accepting the standard way of doing things.
Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague.
We’re inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don’t, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares.
We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you. Most of our people are smart working – spending at least 50% of their time in our offices every week, combining the benefits of flexibility, with time together with colleagues.
