Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Marketing Directorto lead the development, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns in EMEA region. The person will be responsible for leading, developing and executing marketing strategies that highlight the benefits and capabilities of DDN products in AI environments in EMEA Region. This role requires the ability to come up to speed quickly on AI technologies, market trends, creating and executing data-driven, integrated marketing strategies that drive engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue in EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will be an extremely motivated, self-starter who is ready to up-level their career and make an immediate impact at a company positioned at the forefront of one of the most transformational technology periods of our lifetime – Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional marketing plans to meet pipeline and revenue objectives, ensuring alignment with DDN’s overall marketing and business goals.
  • Manage and track regional pipeline data and analysis to monitor progress, identify opportunities, and course-correct as needed to ensure objectives are met.
  • Execute global campaigns at a local level by managing translation and customization of global marketing materials, and representing DDN at industry events, conferences, and webinars within the EMEA region to showcase our expertise and data-driven solutions.
  • Create and launch regional campaigns that address specific market needs and capitalize on regional opportunities within the EMEA market.
  • Drive brand-building initiatives to reinforce the company's market position, creating meaningful engagement with target audiences in the EMEA region.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, and engineering to understand product capabilities and regional customer needs within the AI and storage markets.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the EMEA region to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure high-quality, regionally relevant outcomes that align with DDN’s strategic marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with product and customer-facing teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are integrated with broader business objectives, supporting product launches, customer retention, and revenue growth in the EMEA market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Marketing, preferably with a focus on AI or infrastructure.
  • Good business acumen, sales-focused, responsive, creative, strategic, proactive, and hands-on, with the ability to translate data and insights into strategy and action plans
  • Proven track record of developing marketing strategies for EMEA region.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading marketing efforts to drive growth.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Fluency in French or German is of advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and campaign performance metrics.
  • Passion for AI and technology, with a desire to stay informed about industry advancements and innovations.
